Watches are one of the essential pieces of jewelry for any man. A good watch can elevate an outfit from a normal night out to a dapper man with the clasp of the strap. However, watches can range in value from $20 Walmart specials to this $31,000,000 behemoth. Sometimes you just want a decent watch that looks like you care about your appearance. That is why we went and rounded up our favorite watches under $200.
Jack Mason is a Texas Born and Raised company bringing 75+ years of watch making experiences to the affordable watch market arena. They run some cool philanthropic endeavors such as donating a percentage of their solar watch sales to support Conservation International.
The aviator Chronographs feature 316L stainless steel cases either plated in black, gold or not plated with its normal silver sheen. The watch is water-resistant up to 100 feet. It uses a Japanese Quartz Miyota OS10 movement and is compatible with any Jack Mason 22mm strap.
The Jack Mason Aviator Chronograph comes with the following styles: Black Case Gold Face, Silver Case Blue Face, Silver Case Black Face, Black Case Black Face. Jack Mason also has a variety of Italian leather straps to choose from to match your style.
Braun is part of the P&G family which includes brands like Old Spice and Gillette. Now you might not think they know anything about watches but they boast quite an array of affordable watches. Our favorite of theirs is the Braun BN0021, part of their classic family of watches.
The BN002 features a matte stainless steel case and a quartz 3 hand movement. It is water resistant up 50 meters. This is a little bit of a smaller watch compared to the Jack Mason above at 38mm. Overall this is one of the cleanest examples of a watch under $200.
Timex is a classic brand in affordable watch market. They are an American Watch company founded back in 1944 after taking over the Waterbury Clock company which dates all the way back to 1854. If you are looking for watch options Timex is one of your go to’s especially for watches under $200.
The Timex Weekender is a classic around the town watch. With an Analog Quartz movement and stainless steel hardware it is hard to find something at their price point that is more dependable. Not to mention it is water resistant up to 30 meters so you don’t have to worry if it starts to rain.
The Timex Weekender also has one of the most diverse range of options on the market with colors of watch faces, hands, straps and cases. This allows you to find something that fits your style no matter the occasion.
Sometimes you want some more functionality then just telling the time on your wrist. If you are looking for an entry level smartwatch then the Pebble Time Round is one of the best watches under $200.
The Pebble Time Round doesn’t have all the features of some higher end smartwatches. You can view incoming calls, messages, alarms and calendar alerts but you can not reply to them. However, the watch is compatible with both iOS and Andorid OS which is a huge win.
There you have it, our best watches under $200. If you are in the market for a new timepiece I suggest you take a look at one of these and find the style that suits you best. Do you have any other suggestions? Leave them in the comments below!
